AJAX: in a masked forwared domain - A mystery?

After a month of searching and asking for help on the internet this problem is promoted to "a mystery".

The mystery:
- I have a nice working Ajax enabled site on www.solicon.com.es/lomas21
- If you access that site via www.lomas21.es, the Ajax behaviour is gone

www.lomas21.es is just a Domain name without any hosting.
The server automatically forwards the visitor to www.solicon.com.es/lomas21

Where is the golden tip to solve this mystery....

A desperate Ajax developer,
André Teunissen

Not too sure about ajax, but ASP.NET doesn't like forwarded domain sites very much. you start getting behavior like references to http://www.lomas21.es/_vti_cnf which only exists on http://www.solicon.com.es/lomas21/_vti_c...
what you might want to do is set up a redirector page at http://www.lomas21.es
here's the code for index.html:

<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="1;URL=http://www.solicon.com.es/lomas21"&...
<title>
Redirector Page
</title>
</head>
<body>
<a href="http://www.solicon.com.es/lomas21"&...
<br>
Click here if you are not automatically redirected
</a>
&nbsp;
</body>
</html>

I have ASP.NET pages working in forwarded domain sites. So that's not the problem here.

You example works also when you do a forwarded redirection without masking it.
The problem is that my customers do not want to see the URL www.solicon etc.
They just want to remain seeing their URL.
