Good expertise deserves reward. Good answers require time to prepare a good, tested example. Probably some people would pay a couple of dollars/euros for a good answer. More people would compete to answer. And your site would grow in quality. Expertise deserves some money reward. (In catalan: "la pela és la pela")

You should see the delights in EE. If you top the year with points, then u get a free t-shirt! The amount of money EE makes and they redesign the site to some really crappy look. No one has taught them what HCI is all about Anyways. Ive joined this site today and am still getting used to it. So far so good, it would be good if it was more customisable though

Hi Xarcus and Nidhi, Thanks for your responses and sorry, Xarcus that we didn't answer you quicker. We have considered a pay model as well, like users paying experts for their answers, but since Google Answers, which was based on a model like that had to shut down because it didn't succeed, we don't believe we could do it either. Also the idea is that points work as a motivation, but for experts like you to get money out of it, you'd have to have earned enough points to have a good profile to show off and then you'd be in the search light for people and companies looking to contract projects or hire you. We do however plan to launch a prize programme within a couple of months, that would add incentivation and make competing against other experts worth it. I can't reveal anymore now, but we will notify you, when we launch it. If you have any other suggestions, comments or critique we are always happy to hear it, either here publicly or through the comments@quomon.com email. Thanks for the feedback Points system is good in one respect in that it helps people competing. But I dont believe mass points collection means your brilliant. What would be a good idea is some kind of rating system. I will send an email to comments@quomon.com
