improper shutting down have led to this problem... when I turn on the power it starts ,,,,it tells me it couldn't boot...gives me some options"normal booting,,,,last good config.....etc....." then when I choose any one it shows the XP logo but it and goes blank for a while..... After a minute or a half it shows blue screen with an error message--- Error C0000218 Registration File Failure Registration of the file systemroot/system32/config/software....etc what can I do...? is my hard disk dead? if yes, How can I retrieve the file that was in it? help?
