How to prevent buttons in a lower Flash layer from activating whilst browsing highter layer?

I read on solution on QUOMON where an invisible button is created and placed as a background to cover the area of the loaded movie. Well, it works except that I keep getting the mouse button 'hand' appear all round the the area of the invisible button.

Is there a way to shut off the "hand" appearing?

Cheers

Hi Ravi,

I was wondering which browser it is happening in, and what "wmode" the flash movie is set to run in?
It sound to me like IE7 (perhaps even IE6) and the "Click to activate" hand, which I think there is no cure to, except to upgrade the browser. "Click to activate" should be obsolete now, as far as I understand.
A little more backtground information, and I think we can answer your question, thanks!

Oh, forgot to say; there is also a javascript solution called objectSwap that can circumvent the "Click to activate" hand, in case you don't want to rely on your users upgrading IE.
