I have 3 email accounts that use Outlook. One is a personal address. One is for business. And the 3rd is for another family member. Currently, when I am in one account (ie, my personal emails) and I want to check emails in my business account, I have to close down Outlook and reopen under another account. Is there a way to "switch users" like I used to do in Outlook Express? I used to have aliases instead of separate email accounts.

If using Outlook, you can create additional email accounts. Create a pop3 account and add in your pop3 settings along with userid/password. Then setup a rule whereby all emails sent to that particular email addy will go to a specific folder (optional). So now you can setup multiple email accounts in one outlook profile I searched google for a tutorial and found this, hope this helps http://www.glassraven.com/articles/email...

The solution you provided did not allow me to keep the email accounts separate, as I was able to do in Outlook Express. All mail came to one screen and had to be split between the users. I have just been closing the program and reopening under the different accounts. It is not a huge problem. I just thought that since I was able to "switch users" in Outlook Express, that there would be a similar function in Outlook 2003. I'm not sure there is.

For outlook, the other solution is to set up all 3 accounts under one profile (assuming at most one of them are exchange accounts), this should allow you to keep all of them separated from each other. the one thing you have to be wary of is when sending an email, be sure to select the correct "From" address before you send, aside from the obvious, you could also get relaying denied errors.

I guess I should really clarify, you need to set up a new outlook data file for each account, then you can deliver each incomming email to its own respective data file

Setting up profiles in outlook will allow you to change from one email account to another, but for a scenario where you frequently change from one account to another, this becomes cumbersome as it requires you to fully close outlook then subsequently reopen to choose a different profile. By default, if you set up outlook to view more than one account, all email is set up to deliver to one specific PST file, in effect, combining all the accounts. To get around this behavior, create a new outlook data file for each account, then you can direct each account to its respective data file.
