I have nothing showing up under a user's PSSP in the NTUSER.dat registry file. Why is this?

Under an investigation of a Windows Vista NTUSER.dat file, I cannot find any information under the user's SID in the NTUSER.dat file (\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider). I'm trying to find information from IE Auto-complete, passwords, and web form data.

These are some locations you can try. I have WinXP but not Vista so could not confirm these

Auto Complete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\DefaultPrefix
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\Prefixes

Passwords
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\Storage2

Taken from http://www.winvistaclub.com/t16.html

I do hope you know what your doing with the registry, sounds like you do else you could end up damaing your windows install.

It is a very troublesome thing for a very busy person.
I usually forgot my PC password.
SO, I usually Search some reset password tools.
I found Windows Password Unlocker is a good choice.
Easy, Importantly, without data loss or reinstalling!
