I want to transfer my mails on thunderbird from my desktop to my laptop

Hi I have a desktop on which i receive emails thro thunderbird. I want to transfer those emails to my laptop. On both the PC's I have vista installed. Can you tell me how shud i go about doing it ?

I have been involved in a similar question before. I did see a forum where there was a possibility but I didnt post it thinking it wasnt good enough, but apparently it was as it worked fine for the OP.
