My wireless laptop connected to my network,suddenly stopped working after I installed and removed PEERBLOCK. The laptop says I'm connected to my router Linksys WRT54G, but that I do not have access to internet. Pinging has failed. I've reinstalled the router, and set up new network for laptop,I'm at a loss what to try next. Can you help?

The first thing to try is PINGing your PC (127.0.0.1). If it doesn't work, you may have damaged the TCP/IP protocol drivers. Then try pinging the gateway (your router). If there's no response, you're not connected or you've set an incorrect gateway in your network settings. Then, try accessing a website by using its IP. If it works, it may be a problem with your DNS servers.

Here I have a good recommend for you: Tuneup360 and Norton system work, but the latter one is a little bit difficult. For the beginners, Tuneup360 is a good choice.
