I have windows 7 on my notebook (Compaq Presario CQ61-360EV ). It has a broadcom bluetooth device, but I get an installation notice all the time for the "Bluetooth Peripheral Device".

Just simply download and install BlueSoleil it comes with most bluetooth drivers
