Why is my mailing list not sending correctly in Thunderbird?

I created a mailing list in thunderbird, but everytime I try to send the message it gives me this error:

-----

Mailing List Test <"Mailing List Test"> is not a valid email address because it is not of the form user@host. You much correct it before sending the email.

-----

I read some forums and it said there is an error in the code and to just reclick the "Send" button and it works, but that didn't work for me.

How many times did u try clicking Send? perhaps it requires more than one go.

Have u got the latest version of Thunderbird? perhaps this bug may of been resolved.

I dont know if this would help you https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...
it allows u to use local addresses i.e. those without a domain. Im not sure if it will work with lists mind you. But worth a try perhaps?

I tried the ad-on and it didn't work or install correctly.

Does anyone else know if there is a fix for this or a way to get around it?

Hi. I have a pair of computers with Thunderbird 2.0 client mailing service on both of them and I have the same problem in one of them and the another one send allright to mailing list. Options and mail Settings as the same. I test the mail list of wrong PC on another one and it works OK also. What can I do? I don't think solution is install the addon because if it is necesary; why are they one of my computers who works OK without any addon? Do you could help me, please? Thank you very much. Best Regards to everybody. Luis
