I heard today about a supposedly new type of computer based on bits with not the usuario 1 and 0 values, but instead having the option of being either true, false or "maybe". I wanted to know more about that, but I can't seem to find information about it. Do you guys know more about this, and can you explain what it's all about?

The 3 value bits are based on the Zero-One-Infinity principle in which these numbers are considered the only true numbers. PC's based off this logic simply require larger logic tables, but much of the same rules apply, these have been called Ternary computers and the states have been represented -1,0,+1 this allows for a MUCH simpler operation as you are always performing an addition rather than an invert and add with binary. Anyway, you should be able to google ternary computers.
