mikeleworthy

full site in browser using dreamweaver

thanks for answering my question. there's just one little problem though, when i insert a table into the site there is still a small gap at the top of the page between the top of the table and the underside of the browser. a background image fills the page nicely with the code you gave me but the table still leaves a gap.

i guess i'm trying to say that i need the table (with all my content in) to be flush with the underside of the browser both left and right sides and the bottom. though not worried to much about the bottom as some pages may be bigger etc.

Hope you can help. this site is a godsend!!
(not understanding the point system tho)
Mike.

Mikelworthy,

If you have the body tag's margin set as "0", that should take care of any gap at the top.

<body topmargin="0">

You may have some cellspacing or padding within the table, make sure you set those as zero as well.

<table cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0'>

Let me know if that works for you. As far as the points...just give them all to me:)

cut and paste below code into head section
<style type="text/css">
<!--
body {
 margin-left: 0px;
 margin-top: 0px;
 margin-right: 0px;
 margin-bottom: 0px;
}
-->
</style>

use this table property into body section
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
</table>
