My computer has 34 critical viruses in it. It won't allow me to even allow me to install an antivirus. Every time I try to install one it always pops up a little box and says the file is in infected. I can't even adjust my sound b/c the little white box pops up. When it does get on the internet spyware keeps popping up saying i'm infected....popups from the bar down at the bottom keeps popping up saying i'm infected. Then a red and yellow box pops up saying i'm being attacked by an internet virus and something about togglers i think. I'm far from a computer person. I am a beginner so please be very specific about answers or any more questions you have to help solve this problem. My computer was bought on ebay for 120 dollars and i believe the virus came with it. It doesn't even start normally. when i turn it on it has a blue screen pop up saying error and you have to push enter then a blue box pops up with options to enter the date and time b/c it always restarts itself on 00. then a box pops up and says 0/I with it blinking which means to turn off and turn back on. then once you do that the computer will start up. I don't have a lot of info about the computer itself. The previous owner peeled the windows sticker off the bottom found out when i called pawn shop to see if they could fix it. and they don't sell plain windows xp cd's anymore so i can't buy the disk to take it down there to them to see if they could fix it. PLEASE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME I'M BEGGING YOU TO COMMENT!!! my email is jenniferkaizer@yahoo.com if you need me to answer any other questions about this issue to help you figure out the problem and how to fix it. thank you very much.

There's probably little you can do at this stage. You will need to back up any personal files you have and re-install Windows if you can. You have three options:- 1) Buy a new Windows CD and get a new license key with that. This is a shame however as you already have a product/license key for your current Windows installation. 2) Borrow a Windows CD from someone and re-install with your current product/license key. To find out your current version of Windows right-clik on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop and choose "Properties". In the "General" tab you will find the exact name of your Windows product (e.g. Windows XP Home or Windows XP Pro). You'll need to know this if you want to re-install with the current product key you have. To find out your current Windows product key you'll need a program such as WinKeyFinder to retrieve it (if your system allows you to inatall it). See http://www.winkeyfinder.com/remository/w... You'll need to write down this product key for later when you're re-installing Windows. Then you'll need to borrow a CD from someone with the same Windows product on it as you have. 3) Install an alternative Operating System You could try a more virus resistant and free operating system such as Ubuntu. See http://www.ubuntu.com for more information. This will allow you to do most things that Windows can do such as Internet browsing, E-mail and document writing (and much, much more). All this for free and without the worry of viruses. By the way, the fact that you have to enter the date and time everytime you start the PC could hint at the fact that your PC battery may be dead and needs replacing. Every PC has a small battery that, although lasting a long time, will eventually run out. It's there to remember some settings such as the current date and time for when the power goes off. You may need to ask a computer store or computer expert to replace it for you. The batteries themselves are fairly cheap but someone needs to open the PC (safely) and replace the battery on the motherboard. Good luck, Ruud

The reason why your PC start slow is too many application are started at the beginning, maybe you can turn off some in the control panel, or there is an easy way, you just need a software to help you do this, try Tuneup360, you will be surprised by its powerful function!!!
