networked computers can't share files and printer

have cable modem and vonage router and wireless router and have a laptop(wireless) with desktop(not wireless) When setup originally computers could share files and printer. Now they cannot share

You need to be at a password protected user session.

Having the user/password defined at both computers eases the access. If not you will be prompted for user/password every new session.

if your computers are on different routers (different networks) the set up for computers to see each other is more complicated.

Try to use only one router, or a router and a switch.
