I currently have an application that creates PDFs of documents that the user designs in a Flash interface. The problem is, in order to preview the final result, it requires that the user open Acrobat reader which takes entirely too much time. Is there any resources out there that will convert the final PDF piece to a JPG image that I could let the user see instead of the PDF? My site is coded in ASP

try using Adobe Acrobat Professional 6.0 or higher. Open your PDF document then go to File...Save As... and try selecting one of the JPEG options. Each PDF page will be saved individually as a JPEG.

Hi John, Though I'm sorry to say that I haven't tried this myself, I found this page which contains a component for converting PDF documents to JPG on an ASP server. (Find link to trial download in bottom. Price $299 to buy) http://www.verypdf.com/pdf2tif/index.htm Thought it might help you since you haven't received any answers yet (2 weeks). Cheers, Jakob

Thanks jgivoni, I think I'll keep this posted for a little while longer. Maybe someone will come by with experience and the deadline to find this out isnt too urgent. The sooner the better but I want to see what is out there.

Tried out the verypdf and it works great with the desktop application. My company is now looking into buying the actual server side software. Seems to do the trick. Thanks.
