I have an acer aspire 1640z, does anyone know how I could completely restore it because it wont log in, once it starts to it shuts down. If you can help me Id appreciate it, thanks.

This can be accomplished easily if you still have the Windows XP disc that came with the computer. The step by step instructions can be found here: http://www.wikihow.com/Install-Windows-X... NOTE: Doing this will erase all the data (documents, music, etc.) on your hard drive.
