.DropDown { padding:3px 5px; height:20px; width:260px; background: #FFFFFF url(../images/txtbg.jpg) repeat-x left top; border: solid 1px #999999 } I use the above css class to make my form elements have the same background and a uniform width and height but I can't get it to work with the select html tag. Is there a way to customize the select option tag and be compatible with IE6, IE7 and mozilla browsers? Thanks

Form elements are almost always a nightmare to style equally in various browsers. To get started, here is a great repository of examples (screenshots) of how 11 different browsers respond to 12 different css properties applied to 6 different form elements: http://www.456bereastreet.com/archive/20... If I have time, I will check your specific problem later.
