I have illustrator open but I can seem to find out how to open the window that allows me to align the text, how do I do this?

dont know if this helps On the Control Palette, click on the Paragraph link to open the Paragraph Palette. You will see the alignment choices across the top of the palette. Click on the one of your choice its taken from http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art4...

I found the answer myself. Path to Paragraph Window is: Window > Type > Paragraph If you go to the "Window" selection on the top and click it, go to the "Type" selection with an arrow which will open a second tier of navigation and you will be able to select "Paragraph". This opens up the paragraph window and then I can select the alignment from that window.
