How can I print from my wi fi laptop to a printer connected to my pc?

I'm using Vista in my laptop, and xp in my pc. I'm also using a linksys wrt54g router

step 1: using the network setup wizard.
on your laptop (vista) open the control panel.
under "network and internet" click on "set up file sharing" and follow the wizard. you want to make the individual computer's names unique, but the workgroup name common. you are not using a domain. on the laptop, it's optional if you select the option to share your files and printer. I recommend against it for laptops.
on the pc attached to the printer, you want to open up "network connections" from the control panel (switch to classic view) then click on "set up a home office network" or something like that. Again, make sure the workgroup name is the same as what you used above. You will also be prompted to share your files and printers, be sure to do so.
Step 2: wait a little while and all printers from the desktop should automatically start appearing in your list of printers.
