How do I vary the height of a frame depending on the content inside? (In easy terms)

I have to re-do a webpage that uses frames. With those frames, you cannot print the entire content because you need to scroll. So, what I want to do is vary the height of the frame depending on the content inside (so all the data is visible)

Can this be done?

Please explain it as simply as possible (Ive only been working with HTML for a few months)

For main/index page frameset

<frameset rows="20%,*,20%">
<frame src="header.html">
<frameset cols="20%,*,20%">
<frame src="left.html">
<frame src="main.html">
<frame src="right.html">
</frameset>
<frame src="footer.html">
</frameset>
</html>

for main body page

<table height="100%">
<tr>
<td>Put your data here</td>
</tr>
</table>
