Web Parts (WP)

- Web Parts are all about flexibility

- WP provide you with the infrastructure for creating customizable Web applications, such as intranet portal applications
- when you build a Web site with WP, the Web site can be easily customized by either the administrator of the Web site or the individual users
- by taking advantage of the new WP framework introduced with ASP.NET 2.0, you can build applications that can be easily customized by users at runtime
- users can rearrange the elements of a page built with WP by using a drag-and-drop interface
- users can also add and remove elements in a page by working with one or more WP catalogs
