JavaScript Hosting Question

I have completed some of my first JavaScript codes. I want to host them on my website. When I open them with my broswe it works. When I copy and paste them into my website, I see the buttons and boxes but they are inactive. How can I make them become active in my site?

We need more information about the code and what it is supposed to do, as well as how you are trying to host the files. Can you elaborate, give examples or a link?

Cheers,
Jakob

Javascript is a client language. Hosting does not affect its execution.
Check file paths and file names. If your page calls external js files, maybe can't find them. Unix and linux are case sensitives.

Where do you host your website? I think you need to research more on Java hosting before running those scripts. You may want to start here http://www.webhostingsearch.com/jsp-web-... Do check if your current host is compatible with those codes.
