Hi Sarbjit,

this depends also a bit on your background. Are you a Java developer? Then you shouldn't have any problems to switch over to C#. Are you VB6? Look at VB.Net etc. But one thing you have to know, you have to have a good understanding of Object Orientation! This is basic stuff!!!

And don't start too many projects. Don't play around with Windows Apps and do a Web App and then a Web Service etc. Take one step after the other! Start simple and work your way up!

Some pages you might want to have a look at:

http://www.developer.com/net/csharp/arti...>http://www.developer.com/net/csharp/arti.../a> Explains how to get set up etc.
http://www.eggheadcafe.com/articles/gett...>http://www.eggheadcafe.com/articles/gett.../a> has some tipps on where to find information
http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/g...>http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/g.../a> has links to downloads and code samples.
Also check the partner page of Quomon, http://www.developerland.net/">http://www.developerland.net/</a>
One page I visit quite regular is http://www.codeproject.com/">http://www.codeproject.com/</a>

I also bought some books via online auction sites like eBay etc. One book which helped me when I started was "C# Programming for VB6 Developers"
Apart from this, read blogs, subscribe to RSS feeds and go to TechEds and User group meetings!

And ask lots and lots and lots of questions, for example on Quomon :-)

Cheers

Peter
