Hello Anpanman,

I saw your post about NHibernate deadlock problem and you mentioned another issue about dirty object that can create the deadlocks, where you were using an enum to int mapping.

I'm facing the same problem here and there are so many updates to the database that it's causing deadlock. Do you have any idea how to solve this issue? I'm kinda lost here.

I would appreciate if you let me know the solution, if you are aware of one.

Hello, This issue that I was facing is solved. What we found was NHibernate was placing an exclusive lock on the table while executing 'Select' queries. We now SetLockMode(LockMode.Read) before every select call.
