When you say it does not work, do you mean any key doesnt work?
The fact that is works when you boot up appears to me the keyboard looks fine.
Have you tried another keyboard?
I do not know if drivers exist for your keyboard, you could try checking the dell website

DELL's computers are not very good in quality, so next time don't buy that, and i suggest you take it to the customer's service for help if your computer is still in defects liability period.

Oh, it's easy. Many people have such problem. You can try the software "tuneup360". My friends and I all use it.

Here I have a good recommend for you: Tuneup360 and Norton system work, but the latter one is a little bit difficult. For the beginners, Tuneup360 is a good choice.
