I am using Windows XP. Several months ago the CAPS LOCK key stopped working. When it's pressed it brings up the Start Menu instead of caps lock.

Have u tried a different keyboard? I say this so u can prove whether its a faulty keyboard or an issue with windows. I think it might be possible to reprogram caps lock key but I dont know how to with Win XP. Certainly u can with Mac and Unix/Linux

problem can exist after installing Microsoft Intellitype Keyboard even with the onscreen keyboard
