can't create pagefile, what is wrong?

I am running Windows Server 2003, and each time the system boots, I get an error message, that a pagefile was not created. I went to where you can set the size of the pagefile, and the size is set, but still, its not being created. I tried moving it to another partition, still, not created. I tried fixing permissions, to see if that would allow the file to be created, still nothing. Any ideas?

Do you have SCSI ? I have heard of incompatabilities between Adaptec SCSI 5.0 and Windows XP.

Perhaps it exists but is damaged. Look for it (usually in C:\pagefile.sys. Remember it will be hidden). Try this:
- In virtual memory configuration choose "No Paging File".
-Restart. Go back to virtual memory configuration and now let Windows choose the settings.

Well, maybe because your browser and windows system are not compatible, you'd better change your browser or maybe you can try the software tuneup360, which can help you solve all the computer problems
