how to remove jobs from the printer queue?

I have an issue with setting up my printer, but when trying to tackle it I run into another problem.
If I have a job in the printing queue that is saying "printing" even when I don't have the printer connected, it doesn't dissapear from the queue if I cancel it. It just says that the status is "deleting...". Then nothing happens. If I restart the computer it returns the job to status "printing" and I can't get it completely deleted. Is there a way to do this?

I figured out how to do this myself.
First through the command prompt I wrote: net stop spooler
Then I went to the folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS and deleted the files in there (the printing files in the queue).
And then I started the spooling service again with: net start spooler
It's also possible to go to the control panel/administrative tools/services and find the "Print Spooler" service in the list and stop or deactivate it there.
I will try and set my printer to not use the spooler, but print directly, because this is annoying to have to do manually.
Hope it might help somebody else...
