i can't access www.hotmail.com?

I'm using Internet Explorer 6 and when I try to go to www.hotmail.com and enter my login and password I am redirected to login.live.com and then get a message saying the page cannot be displayed.
Apart from that my internet access is working as normal, I can access all other sites.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks

I'll tell you right now that at least you're not hijacked since no malicious software I've heard of will take you the microsoft owned "live.com"
My gut tells me that somewhere along the line, some popup blocking software or firewall is denying logon scripts from live.com and causing you to fail logins. Note that hotmail is no longer hosted on hotmail.com but rather live.com hosts it. add "*.live.com" (without the quotes) to all of your safe site lists and you should be good to go.

Hello.

Check your 'cookies' at internet options, then click in active. Also, you may click in 'predeterminates' and reset your PC.

Any doubt or another question, let me know it please.
