I was wondering how you handle users like LAGM who answer their own questions for points?

Hi oracleofDelphi, Users who answer their own questions and give points to themselves are allowed to do so, since they might have discovered the answer themselves and writing it here will help other users in the future with the same problem. Having said that, the points that they give to themselves do not count towards their ranking, so they are not taken into account when calculating their rank against the other experts.
