Hi Dianedewit,

Could you please elaborate on what happens when you turn on your laptop.

Also let me know if you have enough charge in the battery, else plug in the charger and switch it on to charge your laptop.

Hi the computer is a desktop when you start the computer it starts working it lights up the cd drive for a few seconds and it stops working

Hi Dianedewit,

Could you make sure your cd drive does not contain any bootable cd.

you might need to disable boot from CD option from the bios setup.

Restart you system and Press "F2" when you see the system keys display at the bottom of the screen, just before the Windows splash screen appears, to access the BIOS panel.

Make changes in the BIOS for the boot devices or the boot device priority to boot from Hard disk instead of CD and hit the "F10" key to save your changes and exit the BIOS. Your computer will complete the startup process and launch Windows.

Let me know what happens after this.
