how do i fix this problem a blue screen comes up and then its there for seconds then goes to a screen that says safe mode and such but wont let the computer run even shuttting it off and restarting does this how do i fix this

Sounds like some corrupted files. Try booting your pc up from windows xp disk then once the disc has loaded press r and wait for the Recovery Console to load once it has loaded type chkdsk /r this will repair all corrupted files on the pc. :):)
